Dr. Dimesh S. Mawji

Dr. Dimesh S. Mawji is the Founder and Managing Partner of Sai Attorneys. He is an Advocate of the High Court of Tanzania and subordinate courts thereto, as well as the High Court of Zanzibar. He is also a Notary Public and Commissioner for Oaths.
He holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B), a Master of Laws (LL.M), and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Law. Since his admission to the Bar in 2014, Dr. Mawji has built a distinguished legal career spanning corporate and commercial law, intellectual property law, real estate and conveyancing, banking and finance, employment law, tax advisory, dispute resolution, and commercial litigation.
Dr. Mawji advises local and international clients, including corporations, financial institutions, investors, and private individuals, on a broad spectrum of legal and regulatory matters. He is recognised for providing practical, commercially focused, and strategic legal solutions tailored to clients’ objectives.
Beyond legal practice, Dr. Mawji is actively engaged in legal research and scholarship. He has published academic works in reputable journals and regularly contributes to discussions on intellectual property, corporate governance, and commercial law.
